iPhone 7 Rumours: What might be in Store?

Apple launched several new products and services in 2015. In addition to revamping Apple TV, the company also launched iPad Pro, Apple Watch, and new iPhone 6 models. But many users and reviewers observed that Apple is gradually failing to live up to its own standard of excellence. So many users expect Apple to launch a number of innovative services and out-of-box devices in 2016. Many websites have reported that Apple would release iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in September. Also, many bloggers and mobile app developers have started speculating on the new features to be included in iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

Gathering Rumors Surrounding iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus

Launch Date: According to certain websites, Apple will release iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in September 2016. But some websites reported that Apple would release the updated version of iPhone 7 as early as summer. So there are chances that iPhone 7 may debut several months ahead of Apple’s usual yearly upgrade cycle.

Screen Size: At present, different models of iPhone sport 4, 4.7, and 5.5 inches screens. IPhone 7 is rumored to sport a screen size of 4.7 or 5.5 inches. Many websites even speculate that Apple would launch iPhone 7 Mini with a 4-inches screen. However, a website stated that Apple did not have any plan to launch a smaller version of iPhone 7 based on the information collected from a supplier.

No Headphone Jack: Apple is rumored to drop the headphone jack on iPhone 7. It is expected to replace the headphone jack with an all-encompassing lightning port. So the users have to listen to wired headphone through the lightning port. The absence of the headphone jack will make the design of iPhone 7 much slimmer than its predecessors.

New Noise-Canceling Technology: Apple is rumored to include a new noise-canceling technology in next version of iPhone to make it deliver high quality music. The new noise-canceling technology is developed by the U.K. audio company Wolfson Microelectronics. Apple is expected to include the technology in the smartphone as well as the headphones plugged into it.

Wireless Charging: The Apple Watches are already using wireless charging feature. Apple is expected to include the wireless charging feature in both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The wireless charging feature will enable users to get their smartphones recharged anytime and anywhere. The feature will further make iPhone 7 score over other smartphones available in the market.

More RAM and Bigger Battery: Apple is expected to design iPhone 7 with several new features to meet its own standard of excellence. Many websites speculate that iPhone 7 will be the first ever mobile device with 3GB RAM. Apple is further rumored to design iPhone 7 Plus with a larger battery to boost its user experience drastically.

Waterproof Design: Often users explore ways to dry their wet iPhones efficiently. Many users even worry about protecting their pricey smartphones from water. So Apple is expected to make iPhone 7 fully waterproof using a technique that will dry the device by pumping water automatically. The waterproof design will make it easier for users to access their mobile devices in varying weather conditions. Buttonless Design: Apple is further rumored to completely revamp the look and feel of iPhone 7. Some websites speculate that the upgraded version of iPhone will sport a buttonless design. IPhone 7 may not include a home button on the display screen. The absence of home button will make the screen appear bigger. However, Apple has to explore an alternative to home button as currently it is integrated with the device’s touch ID.
